The Dental Faculty Consortium of Thailand (DFCT) protects personal data in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). This page explains which cookies this website uses and what personal data it collects.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember settings or your session, such as your chosen language or that you are signed in.
Cookies we use
| Type | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | pll_language, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, dfct_consent, dfct_ms_* | Remember your language, board members’ sign-in, your cookie choice, and meeting papers unlocked with a secret key (expires within a day). The site needs these to work, so they cannot be switched off. |
| Third-party | YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) | Play embedded videos. The provider may set cookies when you play a video, under its own policy. |
The website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If any are added later, they will only run after you choose “Accept all”.
Personal data we collect
- Contact form — your name, email, phone (optional) and message, used only to reply to you.
- Board member accounts — username and email, used to sign in and control access to documents.
- News comments — the name and email you enter.
DFCT does not sell or share personal data with third parties unless required by law, and keeps it only as long as needed for these purposes.
Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page or the button below, and you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Your rights
You may ask to access, copy, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, object to its processing, withdraw consent, and complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee.
